Il Saturday Night Live è uno show che va in onda il sabato notte sulla NBC dal 1975, dal Rockefeller Center a NY. E' uno show dove vari sketch comici si susseguono, e vi sono sempre un host diverso (solitammente un importante attore o personaggio dello spetaccolo, quando uno viene chiamato a condurlo significa che è diventato un pezzo grosso) e un ospite musicale che si esibisce.
Tutti i più grandi comici americani sono usciti da qui, da John Belushi e Dan Aykroyd (sono praticamente nati qui i Blues Brothers) a Mike Myers (Austin Powers), da Al Franken a Bill Murray.

Ora, da un paio d'anni su Canal Jimmy su sky la domenica danno le migliori puntate, e l'altro giorno ho visto quella di Natale 2005. L'host era Jack Black, l'ospite Neil Young e appariva anche Johnny Knoxville
Ma il momento principale è stato il "digital short" "Lazy Sunday" interpretato da Chris Parnell e Andy Samberg
Praticamente è una parodia di un video hip/hop, che parla di una domenica pomeriggio in cui i due vanno a vedere "Le cronache di Narnia"
In America è diventato un fenomeno di culto, una cosa che non si vedeva da anni, il filmato è andato su youtube ed è stato visto milioni di volte, prima che la NBC obbligasse il sito a toglierlo, minacciando il sito. Comunque potete sempre su youtube vedere quante imitazioni ci sono.
